1. Acceptance and operator
These Terms are between you and Hangdong Guo, who currently operates StackFlow as an independent developer. By downloading, accessing, subscribing to, or using StackFlow, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms apply to the StackFlow iOS app, the StackFlow website and support pages, account administration, subscription handling, and the current planning, explanation, OCR, and AI-related product features.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You may use StackFlow only if you are legally permitted to do so in your jurisdiction and are able to form a binding agreement under applicable law. If local law requires parental or guardian involvement for minors, use of the service must comply with that law.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, Apple sign-in access, and device access secure.
- You must provide accurate information where StackFlow asks for it, including when creating or maintaining your account.
- You may be responsible for activity that occurs through your account if you fail to protect your sign-in methods or device access.
3. License to use StackFlow
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use StackFlow for your own personal, non-commercial use, only in the form made available by us and only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law.
This license does not transfer ownership of StackFlow or any related intellectual property to you. We and our licensors retain all rights not expressly granted.
4. Service scope and health boundary
StackFlow is a consumer product for supplement routine planning, organization, explanation, and self-tracking. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency support, or a substitute for professional medical judgment.
You remain responsible for decisions about supplement use, combinations, timing, and health-related actions. If you have a medical condition, take prescription medication, are pregnant, nursing, or have concerns about interactions or symptoms, consult a qualified professional.
5. Subscriptions and billing
StackFlow may offer paid subscriptions through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Paid features, pricing, trial terms, and availability may vary by storefront, region, or promotion.
- Billing. Paid memberships are billed by Apple through your App Store account.
- Auto-renewal. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Management. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store account settings.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s rules and processes.
- Deletion does not cancel billing. Deleting your StackFlow account does not automatically cancel your App Store subscription.
- Required legal links. Links to the Privacy Policy and these Terms must remain accessible within the app and on the website.
6. Your inputs and app content
You may provide profile data, supplement selections, notes, feelings, OCR text, and other inputs to use StackFlow. As between you and us, you generally retain rights in your own content to the extent applicable.
However, you grant us a limited right to host, process, transmit, store, reproduce, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve StackFlow, including to run AI and OCR features that you choose to use.
You are responsible for ensuring that the content you submit is lawful and that you have the right to provide it.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse StackFlow. In particular, you must not:
- use StackFlow in violation of applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data;
- interfere with, disrupt, scrape, or abuse the service or infrastructure;
- reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the app except as permitted by law;
- use the service to develop a competing product through unauthorized extraction or bulk copying of product behavior or data; or
- submit content that is fraudulent, abusive, infringing, or otherwise unlawful.
8. AI features and informational content
StackFlow includes AI-generated planning, explanation, and insight features. These outputs are informational product features based on available data and rules. They can be incomplete, mistaken, generalized, or not suitable for your situation.
You should not treat AI outputs as medical advice or rely on them as the sole basis for health decisions. You remain responsible for evaluating what is appropriate for you.
9. Intellectual property
StackFlow, including its software, interface design, branding, text, graphics, and non-user-generated content, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted above, these Terms do not give you any ownership or broader rights in StackFlow.
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the product, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
10. Availability and changes
StackFlow may be offered only in countries or regions where Apple makes the app available and where the service can be lawfully provided. Features, plans, pricing, language coverage, and service integrations may change over time.
We may add, remove, suspend, or change features, including AI features, OCR flows, routine logic, website functionality, and subscription offerings, without guaranteeing that any particular feature will remain available forever.
11. Suspension, termination, and deletion
We may suspend or terminate access to StackFlow if reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, investigate abuse, or respond to violations of these Terms.
You may stop using StackFlow at any time. If you want your account deleted, use the in-app deletion flow under Settings > About & Help > Delete Account or contact privacy@stackflow.life.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StackFlow is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure in every case, or suitable for your individual needs.
We do not guarantee any specific health, sleep, energy, recovery, supplement, or wellness result. Product descriptions, timing suggestions, interactions, and AI outputs are provided for consumer information and organization only.
13. Liability limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or related to StackFlow is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or USD 50 if greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
14. Your responsibility for misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, liabilities, losses, and costs that arise from your misuse of StackFlow, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or the rights of another person.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, excluding conflict-of-laws rules, except that mandatory consumer protection and privacy rights in your home jurisdiction remain unaffected, including rights that cannot be waived under EEA, UK, Swiss, or applicable U.S. consumer law.
Courts located in Hong Kong will have exclusive jurisdiction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms when the product, law, pricing model, or service structure changes. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice in the app, on the website, or by email where appropriate.
